What an amazing journey! I just received my Diploma in Social Media Marketing, and I truly feel ready for the actual world now!

I can definitely give a thumbs up to the Editing and Proofreading Course.

The whole learning journey was quite engaging for an online setup, featuring links to a bunch of articles, videos, and quizzes - tackling subjects that go beyond just the basics of editing, like legal issues, fact-checking, and tips for job hunting. Most importantly, the proofreading and copyediting tasks were tough and felt very realistic - unlike some other courses I've taken, these were graded (by actual people!) with thorough feedback. I feel way more prepared now, and I'm sure the skills I've gained will be super useful in my career.

The course's flexibility fit my needs perfectly, making it easy for me to learn at my own pace. My instructor, Lucy van Biljon, was fantastic at giving quick and helpful feedback that boosted my writing skills and confidence.

The way the course is presented is clear and packed with valuable information. There’s a good mix of assignments, and plenty of resources for extra reading; they’re all quite engaging and varied.

I've truly enjoyed this experience and can't wait to take my next steps. Steps I never thought I could take before.

I found this course to be quite engaging and it really helped me gain a lot of knowledge. I zipped through the material pretty fast since I didn’t have to wait too long for the feedback on each task. Each task was unique, featuring both practical elements and multiple-choice questions. The responses I received were all positive and motivating. I also appreciate how they provide additional support after finishing the course, which is really uplifting, so you don’t feel lost when trying to kickstart a career or work as a freelancer. I haven’t tapped into their career coaching program yet, but I’m confident that I’ll have a better shot at success after completing this than if I were to tackle it solo.

I really liked the Copyediting and Proofreading course offered by CMP. It touched on a wide variety of subjects and provided useful tips on how to locate and collaborate with clients. The feedback from the instructor was thorough. I did think the online learning platform felt a bit old-fashioned and the formatting guidelines were quite rigid, but hey, it was also a solid way to hone the attention to detail that's needed in this field. Overall, it was a positive experience that I'm already applying!

This program is an awesome way to kick off a career in copywriting. It dives into various forms of copywriting and explains what’s essential for each type. The tasks are super helpful and provide you with a handy translator once you wrap things up. My personal instructor was especially supportive. She was quick to respond to my queries and really motivating. The course demands a lot of effort, and a few assignments can be quite tough, but trust me, it’s totally worth it.

Every interaction I had with the CMP team was fantastic. They were always prompt and super helpful. I had a totally positive time while taking their course and I'm definitely considering more courses with them down the line. Highly recommend! 👍🏼

So far, I've had just a bit of time to dive into my CMP course, but even with that, I've noticed the support and guidance to be really encouraging and helpful.

All in all, I found this course to be top-notch. Plus, there were links to both online and print resources that really broadened the scope of what we learned. My assignments were graded quickly, and I received detailed, constructive feedback for each one. Since I enjoy working with written content, I aimed to pick up the skills needed to provide this as a professional service to authors. The CMP copyediting and proofreading course has set me up perfectly to achieve that.
